Brent and Kathy Buschkoetter had an experience that no parent wants to go through with a child. There daughter, 18 then was in a drinking and driving incident where a girl who was drinking left a party their daughter was attending and ran her over with her car while the daughter was on her cell phone on the side of the road.
Kathy the mother of the daughter, says, "My daughter was definately looked over by a guardian angel that night and were so lucky to still have her here with us today."
Brent the father of the daughter, says, "I've had to deal with my brother dying in a drunk driving incident 28 years ago and the night we got that phone call saying our daughter was in critical condition because of a drunk driver, it instinatly brought back memories of the night my brother died. It was the worst phone call I have ever received."
Now after two years since the accident both parents say, "Janel, our daughter, is a healthy 21 year old just dealing with normal every day things any one her age does and we couldn't be more blessed with the way things turned out after her almost death experience."
